Mining FAQs from Mining Syndicate

Do You Accept Credit Cards?

Absolutely! We are one of the few companies that allow customers to pay via credit card, this enables you to have extra protection in your payment.

However, you get a 3% discount if paying via crypto or bank transfer. Just ask us about the discount and we'll set it up for you!

If I Buy A Miner Today, How Soon Until I'm Hashing?

As of Nov. 1, 2021, it would be about 2-3 weeks. If there are any (unlikely) unforeseen delays or issues, our team will keep you updated so you will always be aware of what is happening.

How Does All This Work?

We do two things really well:

  1. We sell miners at amazing prices with no minimum order quantities. You can even pay with a credit card!
  2. We host miners at our main facility in Dallas, as well as seven other locations within the States and Canada.

As well as the option to buy a miner from us and have us host for you, you can also choose one of the following alternatives depending on your needs.

  • Do you have a miner already? Ship it to us to host!
  • Do you need a miner but want to host it yourself? Buy it from us and we'll ship it to you!

If I'm Buying a Miner from You for You to Host, What Do I Put as the Shipping Address at Checkout?

If hosted with us, it doesn't matter. If hosted at your home, put in your home address!

All miners stop by our warehouse first, regardless of whether they're ending up at your house or to be hosted with us.

Once your miner is received in our facility, we’ll set it up for you if you’ve reserved a hosting spot.

Or, we’ll ship it out to your chosen address if you’re arranging to host yourself.

Where Do These Miners Come From?

Almost all of them come from China or Malaysia. We occasionally keep some in stock in Dallas but that is rare.

Price volatility makes keeping stock on hand nearly impossible so by sourcing the miners from a third party, we can ensure that our customers will always get the best prices.

How Does Payment Work?

Payment is required in full upfront. Prices are not locked in until payment has been received, and your order will not be processed until payment is received either.

In some cases, your order may be canceled if we have not received payment by the end of the day/within 24 hours due to the price fluctuations and demand.

Prices on the website include a 3% credit card processing fee. Miners paid for in crypto, wire or ACH get a 3% discount, just get in touch with us here and we’ll give you the discount code!

Do I Get a Discount for Ordering Multiple Units?

Miners are a commodity, much like gold, corn or soybeans. The market price of miners moves with the price of Bitcoin. Everyone is subject to market prices, which means that discounts are very hard to come by.

If you plan on ordering 10+ units we can offer a slight discount. Otherwise it will not be possible, unfortunately. The only exception to this is when you pay with ACH, wire, or crypto, then you will receive a 3% discount.

How Long Will It Take for My Miner to Arrive?

Usually about 8-14 days. Sometimes there are unforeseen customs clearance delays, but these are rare. Preorders are more commonly delayed but we will keep you updated.

Alternatively, you can email our team at Howdy@miningsyndicte.com for inquiries such as hosting updates, miner repairs, and order status updates.

Does My Miner Come with a Warranty?

Most new miners come with a 12-month manufacturer's warranty. Some used miners come with a 3-9 months warranty remaining, but this is not always the case.

What If My Miner Gets Lost Or Broken In Transit?

You would be entitled to a full refund. Click HERE to read our full refund policy further down the page.

Can You Source Other Miners That Aren't On Your Site?

For sure! Please fill out this form and we'll get a price for you ASAP.

Do You Have Any Pictures or videos of Your Facilities?

We do! Just click here to see what we have.

Hosting FAQs from Mining Syndicate

How Can I Monitor My Miner from Afar?

We use software called Awesome Miner to provide you remote access to your miner. We'll provide you with a login and password and point your miner to the pool of your choice. We like Slushpool, but the choice is yours!

How Long Is the Contract?

12 months, paid at the beginning of each month via credit or debit card. You can see a template of the contract here.

What Happens When My Contract Is Up?

We'll continue hosting you, month to month, or we'll ship your miner back to you, the choice is always yours to make.

Can I Pay My Hosting Fees with My Mined Crypto?

Unfortunately not. Why not?

What's mined is yours.

In other words, this gets messy, and we don't want to mess with your wallet or crypto. That's sacred.

Can I Come and See Your Facility?

Of course! Book an appointment for a visit here.

What Happens If My Miner Breaks?

If it's a simple fan or power supply (PSU), we'll fix it for a nominal fee. We do ask that you keep both a fan and PSU with us in case this happens, to eliminate unnecessary downtime.

If it's a more complicated repair or the miner is still under warranty, you'll need to file a claim with the manufacturer and we'll mail it wherever it needs to go.

What Other Fees Are There?

None! We don't mess with your crypto or your wallet. That's a sin.

How Does All This Work?

We do two things really well:

  1. We sell miners at amazing prices with no minimum order quantities. You can even pay with a credit card!
  2. We host miners at our main facility in Dallas, as well as seven other locations within the States and Canada.

Do you have a miner already? Ship it to us to host!

Do you need a miner but want to host it yourself? Buy it from us and we'll ship it to you!

How Does the Initial Process Work?

Reserve a hosting spot by paying a $20 refundable fee here. We'll then get in touch with the next steps.

How Much Space Do You Have Available?

We host thousands of machines across multiple states, and we are constantly expanding. We currently have our main facility in Dallas, then seven more across other states and Canada.

There is never any need to worry about space since we are always opening more facilities when necessary.

What Does Your Facility Look Like?

How Do I Know This Isn't A Scam?

You can't know for sure, but we do! Please set up an appointment to chat with a member of our team here. We have very happy customers you're welcome to reach out to for references. Just ask!

We aren't perfect, but we aren't scammers, either. Our facility is a real place and your hard-earned money goes to buying and hosting miners only.

Mining Syndicate Refund Policy

REFUNDS

New miners are covered under the manufacturer's warranty only. Used miners are covered under our own 30-day warranty.

Any defects or damages to miners must be reported to howdy@Miningsyndicate.com within 3 days of receiving the miner.

Due to the nature of this industry, miner refunds are not allowed for the following reasons:

  • Buyers will ask for a refund because miner profitability has dropped between the time they purchased the miner and the time they either received or started hosting the miner with us.
  • Miner prices are wildly volatile.
  • Miner pre-orders are frequently delayed, which we state clearly on several pages of this website. Once a preorder is placed, we commit to it as well by paying in full. That cannot be reversed even in the event of a delay.

Miner hosting reservations are fully refundable for any reason at any time.

Once payment has been received, you have committed to buying a miner from us at the purchase price at checkout. Bank transfers must be received within 24 business hours or orders are subject to cancellation.

You can always contact us for any return or warranty question at howdy@miningsyndicate.com.

PREORDERS

Delays can be extended by the manufacturer and third parties when it comes to pre-orders - we do not give refunds because of this.

Please read the following statement carefully:

You are purchasing a machine that once built, has a likely chance to be a lower TH than the intended target. This is because the manufacturer strives to build a perfect machine but oftentimes, ends up being a slightly lower TH.

Mining Syndicate will refund the difference of the TH based on the purchase price. You will not pay more than the original pre-order price.

Unfortunately, there is no way for Mining Syndicate to know the exact TH of the pre-order machine you are purchasing until it arrives at our main facility.
